Opinions on a gaming forum are not indicative of the worldwide community as a whole AT ALL. Just look at PS2>PS3. The high price and focus on media hurt the PS3 and only with solid games year after year did it eclipse the 360. My point is that people are generally ignorant and for most people $100 is a big deal.

I don't think you understand what you are saying. Looking at history PS3 Nov '06 - PS4 Nov '13 That's 7 years. Personally I do think it will slow down once the "newness" fades, but it will only get better and better games down the line so sales shouldn't be a problem especially with inevitable price cuts down the line. Your comparison to TV's and Phones is WAAAAAY off. Phones and TVs come out with new models every year if not more...

I am aware who Respawn is and where there staff comes from. Fact is that "Respawn" has not made a game. That is not debatable.
And the Logic you guys use is that it isn't really their first game however RaD are made up of ex ND and Blizzard like Lawson72 said so it is not like they do not have console experience.

Sorry, not happening. I'm not disagreeing with you, but I don't see it that way. Unfortunately it all comes down to $$$ not games. Publishers are not going to want to pass up 160mill consoles (ps3 & 360). Not to mention you have things like the Wii U which is more or less on par with the last gen so ports will be happening. Plus at $400 and $500 vs the new $200 ps3 for example and prices will continue to fall. Down the road people will have to decide between a blu-ray player or so...
I think that is just his way of ripping on Uncharted by insisting it's simply Tomb Raider.
1. 360 has not enjoyed the "full experience" because if that were true, then they wouldn't be releasing this bundle of games for the 360 as well.
2. The article states they pretty much had to remake the whole game, aka not the same experience.
3. All PS3s will play the PS1 copy of Doom.
4. My ancient Zune HD can play Doom 2.
5. Halo CE HD doesn't count since it's a remake. Just like PS2 remakes of course...
Maybe next time actually stop to think what the person you are replying to is actually saying.
Going by metacritic PS3 has 37 games that scored at 90 and above, assuming my math is not wrong. 12 of those games are exclusive to PlayStation. So while not more than 1/3 ApplEaglElephant is roughly correct.
